Overview Ripple is a community app that lets users upload historical photos and pin them to a map. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it.
What We Collect Account information When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication). Photos you upload Photos you choose to upload are stored on our servers and displayed publicly on the map. Do not upload photos containing sensitive personal information. Location data Ripple uses your device’s location to show nearby historical photos and to help you pin photos to their correct location. Location is only accessed while you are using the app. Usage data We collect basic usage information (such as which features you use) to improve the app. This data is not sold to third parties.

Data Sharing We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. Photos you upload are displayed publicly on the map as part of the app’s core function.
Data Retention You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Uploaded photos may remain on the map unless you request their removal.
Children’s Privacy Ripple is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
